Consolidate learning from the previous GREAT modules – particularly use of Zero Point Survey.
Revise the GCHHS ED RSI algorithm and preferred technique for front of neck access (FONA).
Revise when and how to adapt RSI techniques, particularly in physiologically unwell and/or anatomically/mechanically difficult patients, including using delayed sequence induction (DSI), titrated ketamine induction and Ventilator Assisted Pre-oxygenation (VAPOX).
Revise a safe approach to the management of severe traumatic airway injuries (TAIs).
Using the above consolidated knowledge and skills, gain confidence in team leading a challenging airway scenario and performing emergency FONA in real time.
