 Understand indications, contraindications and complications of life-threatening procedures often encountered in GCHHS emergencies. Â
Perform relevant procedural skills using GCHHS specific resuscitation equipment.  Â
Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the indications, contra-indications, relevant anatomy, procedural steps and complications for performing a resuscitative hysterotomy.
Further develop inter-departmental relationships by engaging with other GCHHS departments. Specifically: Ophthalmology, Obstetrics, Trauma Service, and QAS.  Â
Practice “hot debrief” or After Action Review and apply to mock scenario  .
1) Read & consider the five pre-readings (& ideally the three additional resources).
2) Complete the two pre-course activities at the bottom of this page.
3) Come along to the in person session and have fun!
 Be prepared for bloody & messy sims, wear enclosed shoes & leave your white linen at home.Â
